Coca-Cola European Games 2015 Partnership
Coca-Cola was one of the main partners of Baku 2015 1st European Games. So it was important to use this chance to make sports more relevant to people. The campaign was supposed to be driven by Digital. We found the insight in the fact that when a city is hosting such big sports events — it does inspire people to make a step towards sports. Parents signing their kids to sports classes, people swapping their cars for bikes or children dreaming to become as great as their favorite athletes. The campaign was built around the idea “Fill your life with games. Fill your life with happiness”.
It all started with traditional media to evoke national pride. TV commercial with participation of young people wishing luck to Azerbaijani athletes and speaking about the importance of the Games in their lives was shot. Coca-Cola Fan Zone was created, where thousands of Azerbaijanis could watch the Games on a huge screen.
The campaign showed outstanding results in digital, reaching 1.7 million people in Azerbaijan and generating 7.2 million impressions.
